2020 five-star center N’Faly Dante wanted to push back any reclassification decision until after the 2019 Nike EYBL Peach Jam, and now, we know his decision was certainly the correct one.
In an 86-77 victory over Houston Hoops, Dante’s MOKAN Elite squad has advanced to the championship game of Peach Jam, set for tomorrow at 2:00 p.m. ET.
In the win, the 6-foot-11 center finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds. This comes after a 15-point, 13-rebound performance in the Elite 8 against the No. 1 player in the class of 2021, Jonathan Kuminga, and his NY Renaissance team.
Kentucky head coach John Calipari was there to watch that game, as was UK assistant Kenny Payne.

Right now, Kentucky target Jalen Green (Team WhyNot) is taking on Marshall County standout Zion Harmon (Boo Williams) in the other semifinal game, with the winner set to play Dante tomorrow in the championship game on ESPNU.
Earlier today, Green helped take down fellow Kentucky target Cade Cunningham and his one-seed Texas Titans. The 6-foot-6 shooting guard out of Fresno, California finished with 17 points, six rebounds, and six assists in the victory.
Against Boo Williams in the quarterfinal round, 2020 five-star guards Sharife Cooper and BJ Boston combined for a ridiculous 63 points, 14 assists, and nine rebounds for AOT in the loss.
Now, we’ll see if Dante and Green get to face off in the title game…
