Patrick Towles has been busy this summer trying to prove he is prepared for the starting quarterback position at Kentucky. Towles has been putting in extra time working out and traveling the country to work with people like quarterback guru George Whitfield Jr.. Towles recently sat down with Kyle Tucker and told him he did not just want the job, he needed it.
“I’m from Kentucky. My parents went to Kentucky. My dream for my entire life was to be the starting quarterback at UK, I kind of got complacent my freshman year. I’m not going to lie. I didn’t deserve the job. I didn’t deserve the job last year either. But now I feel like I’m doing all right, and I feel like I’ve got a pretty good shot at it.”
