Patrick Patterson and the Raptors Advance in NBA Playoffs

When you hear the words Game Seven you expect serious drama. It didn’t look like we were going to have that until a run late in the fourth quarter by the Pacers, but we did get to see Kentucky’s Patrick Patterson and the Toronto Raptors advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

The Raptors beat the Pacers 89-84 to advance to play the No. 3 Miami Heat. Patterson was a key component for the Raptors as he finished with 11 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Congrats to Patterson, Drake the rest of the Six on the series victory.

Congratulations to former Kentucky basketball player and Union County, Kentucky native, head coach Dwane Casey.

I remember Cal saying he wanted to get Pat playing on the perimeter … it’s crazy how well he’s shot 3s in the NBA. 37% career and 42% in the playoffs the last 3 years with Toronto.

Thought they were going to blow it,though. Outscored 15-2 down the stretch. They were trying to kill the clock like UK in the Wisconsin game. Stopped running the offense and were just hoping the clock would run out.
Can’t do that; can’t kill 6 minutes with a shot clock.
