Owensboro Man has a Combustible Pocket

“Is that a flame in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?”  Is what was NOT said at an Owensboro gas station over the weekend.

Josh Hamilton approached the counter of a local gas station when his pocket went up in flames, combusting like a firecracker.  The culprit?  The battery of his e-cigarrette. Hamilton suffered second degree burns after struggling to remove his pants.

The surveillance video was picked up by a variety of media outlets, including CBS News.

You knew the regulation on E-cigs was going to happen at some point. This is probably “that point”.
