One of Kentucky’s Top 2021 Prospects Offered by Clemson

Dabo Swinney is trying to create a recruiting pipeline in Lexington.

Clemson first got a foothold in the state when Walker Parks, a four-star 2020 prospect and top ten offensive tackle in the country, committed to the defending National Champs. Earlier this week, Parks brought a few of his Frederick Douglass friends with him to South Carolina.

Wide receiver Dekel Crowdus and offensive guard Jager Burton were the two biggest 2021 Kentucky prospects on the trip. Following the camp, Burton picked up an offer from Clemson.

Burton is the 11th-ranked offensive guard in the 2021 class according to 247 Sports. Incredibly mobile for a 6’4″ 275-pound lineman, when he pulls down the line of scrimmage or breaks downfield on a screen, Burton is burying opponents in the turf.

Clemson is the latest to join Burton’s growing offer sheet that includes Ohio State, Penn State and Oregon, among others. Last fall Kentucky was the first to extend a scholarship offer. Recruited by John Schlarman, Burton was in the stands for Kentucky’s Blue/White Game.

There’s plenty of life left in Burton’s recruitment. Near the top of UK’s 2021 Big Board, Kentucky will do whatever it takes to prevent another one of the best in the Bluegrass from leaving the state.

Hey dipshit BluemanGreen…ever wondered why we can’t retain good recruits with fans like you…ya dipshit.

You represent the worst of our fan base, projecting your frustration on a kid that has the opportunity to go anywhere they want, not back to the trailer park where you’re currently sleeping on your step-aunt’s couch…ya dipshit.

Ever thought about calling out UK recruiting for its inability to keep top KY talent at home…ya dipshit? Of course not, your dipshit ass can’t think that far ahead.

Did it ever occur to you why a kid would want to go to a consistent Natty contender vs a program that consistently re-lives “signature wins” of beating #1 12 YEARS AGO…ya dipshit?

You see…ya dipshit…the problem isn’t kids going away to other programs (See Damian Harris or Jedrick Wills), it’s idiotic fans like yourself that think that’s the problem. “If only we could keep the top talent here…” Well, why can’t we ya dipshit?

Perhaps our hallowed recruiters need to focus on developing early relationships with recruits, following up regularly, staying in contact and promoting football in state more than Yahtzee-ing across other states and pulling in JUCOs to make up for a lack of ability to develop talent. (Check Clemson’s roster for JUCOs…there aren’t any…ya dipshit)

If I was a recruit and saw your post, I’d certainly look elsewhere. There’s plenty enough pressure on these kids without dealing with…you guessed it…DIPSHITS.

Sometimes the hottest chick at the dance isn’t all that.

Reality sets in; regret discourages the soul – and you beat yourself up.

You realize it and, in time, move on…because:

She never really gave a shit.

Het bluemangreen this is a good kid that is best friends with Parks since diapers. They deserve to play together if UK wanted both they should have started earlier. Don’t criticize high school kids for their decisions. We’re you never 17?

Y’all big mad! Pretty big difference between jumping into crack cocaine and picking a college football program that has been to 4 straight CFP’s with two rings over a program whose high-water mark is a 10 win season and a Citrus Bowl win. I love the Cayuts as much as the next guy but come on y’all… I’m proud of the Kentucky kid, as we all should be.
