I expected the UL/IU game to be a lot closer. I still think we can beat Louisville of course.

My brother is a huge U of L fan and last year he went to the UK/Providence game in Brooklyn with me. I agreed to go to the UL/IU game with him this year. I would rather watch a Kentucky Joe concert than have to watch IU/UL again.

So what is the deal with our OC? There have been 0 rumors in a week! I firmly believe Stoops knows what he’s doing, but this just doesn’t make sense. Should we be worried?
I hate UL but I actually thought Blackshear had a pretty complete game last night 14 PTS. 7 REB. 5 AST. 3 BLK. 1 STL.
The final four this year has the South vs East and the Midwest vs West. Is UK’s likely destination, assuming a #1 seed, in the Midwest or would the NCAA place them in the East or South with a potential Final Four match-up with Duke?
I didn’t think those were set in stone until after the final four were selected. So if UK was the number 1 seed, they would go to the south and say Arizona was the fourth #1 seed, they would go in the west and the west and south would be matched up on one side of the bracket.

I thought the same as Matt, I turned on the IU game with 4 minutes left in the first half. IU hit like 3 threes to cut the lead to five. And then came the Crean interview, cocky and arrogant, got them right were we want them.
But my god is Louisville a bad Free Throw shooting team. I thought we were bad, they’re pathetic.
That guy needs help- send him to a therapist immediately- he only cheers for loosers…. even though I love UK football and is heading up.

I’m in Western Kentucky, and people down here think its okay to root for both UK and UL. I tell them that they’re wrong. Those people are the ones that aren’t true members of the BBN.

If you are just only into one sport in general, that’s one thing, but having 2 completely different alliances in the 2 major sports does mean you are not a real member of either fan base, IMO.
Being in the BBN, you have to love all things UK, not just one sport.

I have a buddy, who is a DIE HARD UK football fan. Has season tickets, goes to every game, went to the Tennessee game on the road, went to past Bowl Games.
HATES UK basketball.

Do other teams fans think about Cal the way we think about Crean. I can’t imagine Cal and Crean being friends. Everything out of Crean’s mouth is uggh… They didn’t even make a sub tournament.
Louisville excels when you turn the ball over, give them cheap points, and also give them second-chance opportunities. Cal knows the blueprint on how to beat Pitino and he prepares his guys like no other for that matchup. We’ll be ready for that game. North Carolina and UCLA will be good preparation as well. In addition, Louisville has yet to play a true top team and many of their players will not know what hit them when they play us.
U of L has 4 really good players. Four. Pitino can’t even chance putting the Egyptian or the the Sudanese players in against us…. so, let’s see how those 4 guys hold up for 40 minutes against our 10……
I find Crean to be weird, but I don’t have any problem with him whatsoever. I almost feel bad for him because he seems to be trying so hard, but his program is so average.
