Nick Richards will announce his decision at 2 p.m. tomorrow
Tomorrow is going to be a busy, busy day for recruiting, with three Kentucky targets set to announce their decisions. Here’s the schedule of who’s announcing when:
- Nick Richards: 2 p.m. at St. Patrick High School
- PJ Washington: 6 p.m., ESPNU Signing Day Special
- John Petty: Halftime of his high school game (game begins at 8 p.m. ET, so probably around 9 p.m.)
If there’s a live stream to be had for Richards and Petty’s announcements, we will post it on the site and have wall-to-wall coverage. As I wrote last night, I expect Washington and Richards to pick Kentucky, and as the decision draws nearer, I feel more and more confident that Petty will choose Alabama.
Here’s hoping by this time tomorrow we have at least two future Cats.

I don’t believe that Petty will choose UK if he intends to announce at his high school game. Nobody there would be happy for a UK choice. That has to be an Alabama announcement.
Hope you’re wrong about Petty. Hate to see a talented basketball player go to a football school, play for half empty arenas (except for UK game), and be soon forgotten.
