Nick Richards had a lot of great things to say about his Kentucky visit
If you ask me, five-star big man Nick Richards is one of the two or three recruits most likely to commit to Kentucky along with PJ Washington and Trae Young, and I feel even better about him being a Cat after reading his quotes about his recent visit. Richards took an unofficial visit to UK for Big Blue Madness on October 14-15, and raved about it to NYCHoops.net.
“It was a great experience. I liked the energy they had and the experience overall,” Richards said.
Kentucky’s record of putting players in the pros was particularly impressive to Richards, a point I’m sure was hammered home by the Wizards/Kings exhibition game the night after Madness.
“Even if you are the last person on the bench you are going to get better at Kentucky,” Richards said. “They get you ready for the NBA and I like that.”
Syracuse and Arizona are also on Richards’ list, and he was scheduled to visit Syracuse last weekend, but put that trip off to focus on getting ready for his senior season. (Or because he’s already made up his mind.)
