Nick Richards commits to KENTUCKY

John Calipari has his first commitment from the Class of 2017 with the addition of Nick Richards, a five-star center out of The Patrick School in New Jersey.

Richards pledged his commitment to the University of Kentucky today, picking the Cats over Arizona and Syracuse. He used a pair of custom-painted Jordan 10s to announce the decision.

Richards was on campus for an unofficial visit to Big Blue Madness last month, only two weeks after his official visit to Lexington. He also hosted Coach Cal for multiple in-home visits during the fall recruiting period.

    Thanks Nick looking forward to watching you play and grow into a good Man just like most of Cals players. Isn’t he one of the players that the so called experts said Ky wouldn’t get.
