Michael Eaves spoiled Game of Thrones on SportsCenter last night

We’re big fans of Michael Eaves around here. The University of Kentucky grad is one of SportsCenter‘s best anchors, routinely giving his alma mater love on ESPN’s flagship program and on social media.

That being said, he messed up big time last night. Eaves started the show with a major Game of Thrones spoiler from last night’s episode before it aired on the West Coast.

**SPOILER BELOW. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. DO NOT WATCH THIS CLIP IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE SPOILED. THIS IS THE LAST TIME I’M WARNING YOU.**

D’oh! As you might expect, Eaves took plenty of heat on Twitter:

Whoops.

Cant spoil something thats already gone past it’s expiration by a season. Nice time waster if you like a visual spectacle without much depth, but when the author abandons the books until the tv show is over, you know it’s lost its way

I endured 6 seasons. It finally became too much. The show is obscenely boring and the writing is flat out lazy. I know people love the show, I would just like to know how much time those people spent stuffed in lockers throughout high school?

Do sane people seriously care about this? This is somehow a priority to them? Amazing! I guess it’s customary to become outraged over fairytales in this day and age. Sad.
