One of the top prospects on Kentucky’s recruiting guest list will not be in Lexington this weekend.
KSR’s T.J. Walker has been told Hurt will not be at Rupp Arena for Big Blue Madness. Hurt still plans on visiting UK, but the initial reports of a trip to Lexington this weekend were false.
Hurt is considered the No. 2 power forward in America by the 247 Composite Rankings and the No. 6 player overall. Most recruiting experts believe Kansas leads for Hurt, with UK, UofL, Minnesota and North Carolina in the mix not far behind.
Hurt has hosted John Calipari for an in-home visit, but he has yet to make the trip to Lexington to see the Kentucky campus.
