Matt Jones signs five-year extension with iHeart Media to continue Kentucky Sports Radio
Matt Jones is sticking around with Kentucky Sports Radio for the long haul.
This evening, Jones signed an extension with iHeart Media to continue the KSR radio show for five more years.
“I just re-signed with iHeart Media to do KSR for five more years,” Jones said in a tweet. “[Ryan Lemond], [Drew Franklin], and [Shannon the Dude] will continue as well. I am very happy to continue the show as we enter our 10th year on the air.”
It didn’t take long for Drew to share his thoughts on the news:

Matt will return to the air on Dec. 26.

Matt re-signing with KSR feels like Stoops or Calipari signing a contract extension. My fan experience is better because of Matt Jones. Thanks for keeping it ridiculous!

Nah I try not to bet to much, just saying what I think. If he was pro-trump some of you would feel differently about the pollitic thing. Sports wise though ksr radio has a great thing going and Matt’s great at it along with the guys and gals that makes things tick behind the scenes.

Apparently being indecisive took a lot out of him, he said he needed some time off.
So why did we need to free Matt Jones? All he had to do was say he wasn’t running and then he was free, correct?
Seems like the decision for freedom rested with him lol
