Matt and Ryan are at the Horseshoe Casino (Wednesday Show Thread)

Poker casinos, or rather casinos that specialize in poker games, are not a recent development. For hundreds of years, cards have been shuffled around a table as each player tries to get the better of his or her opponent. Lately, poker games have taken a different turn by coming into the spotlight of mainstream media. Popular casinos eagerly host players, all of whom try to become nationally recognized as the world’s best poker player.

In recent years poker casinos have really taken the limelight with tournaments such as the “joker123“. Such tournaments are designed to bring players together from all over the world from a variety of poker casinos both online and in an actual establishment. Skills, bluffs and pure luck are tested as players compete with each other until only one person is left at the table.Judidadu88 is one of the most trusted Online Football Agent sites in Indonesia that has worked with Daftar Sbobet Agent Site and Trusted Online Casino that has the best service and is always ready to assist prospective members in creating Sbobet, Maxbet, Jasabola, CBB, ION CASINO, qq39bet, Togel 4D CLICK and RELIABLE IDN POKER which can be accessed through a computer up to the Mobile or tablet version.

Many casinos offer poker but only some casinos offer the chance to play for high stakes. Korean casion offer players the opportunity to bet big.Numerous of casino and betting games are available here. It is so much as the house winning the game as it is a skilled player taking the pot. But before the cards are shuffled, every player has to know the rules.

The first rule of thumb to realize when looking for reputable poker casinos is to do some research. Are there tournaments held there often? How many of the top poker players around the world frequent there? For a novice player, it does help to watch some of the best play but do not go expecting tips and them to take it easy. It is about money and a greenhorn at the card table is ripe pickings for an experienced card player.

Online casino malaysia offers gaming classes to help out the beginner. It is a great way to understand not only the rules of the game but the subtle details that become important when sitting in front of a dealer. Yes, luck plays a part in winning the hand but more often than not it is the skill that wins the pot. Poker casinos, besides offering classes, often feature speakers giving presentations on the different poker games out there. It might be a good idea to take some tips from a professional than to try to figure it out all alone.

If sitting in a casino is not convenient then there are also many online poker casinos currently out on the Internet. The key to online poker casinos is to know the legality issues associated with their use. Offshore gambling is currently illegal in the United States so finding out where the website is hosted as well as any particular state laws can thwart off trouble down the road. There are many online poker rooms out there competing for your business. Just like any casino, most offer valuable bonuses to lure in new customers. This is a good thing for you, the consumer! Many online casinos and poker rooms will offer a “deposit bonus” to players creating new accounts. Many will match your initial deposit with, $100, $200, $300, all the way up to $1100. With that much money in your online casino bankroll, you will see a lot of cards and play a lot of games, increasing your odds of winning the big money.

Maybe I’m just being picky, but how did we hire an offensive coordinator that has never called plays before? I like Dawson and think he will get there, but that seems very odd to me.

    • J-Dub421

From what I’ve read/heard, Dawson would draw up a few plays and the head coach would basically choose which one he wanted to run at the time.

There is never a reason for an adult to tweet players. Have opinions about a game all you want, but don’t be so arrogant as to think specific players need to know what you think. Same sentiment for those weirdos who call coaches shows to tell them how to coach.

  11. Todd
    10:29 am September 23, 2015 Permalink

The irony of Matt condemning “adults” for running down kids on social media is the height of irony and hypocrisy.

Well, Matt is a huge hypocrit.

    • ukjaybrat
      10:44 am September 23, 2015 Permalink

I don’t understand why that makes matt a hypocrite.

Matt is not an average adult “fan” of the game. He is a member of the media machine. if he or one of his employees tweets a player, it’s not the same as a fan tweeting a player

Granted, i’m not listening live (i’ll have to wait for the podcast). So I may be missing a little context here.

    • Realme
      10:49 am September 23, 2015 Permalink

I don’t get Todd’s point either, and I am listening. I’ve never seen Matt or his employees communicate in a negative way with a player on social media. Analyzing a game on the radio or on a sports media website is not the same thing at all.

    • todd
      10:53 am September 23, 2015 Permalink

Yeah you are missing the context. Matt has ripped 18-22 yo kids repeatedly on twitter (see Kevin Ware, Chris Jones, Bohanon etc.) If you are going to stand on a soapbox and chide others about engaging kids in social media, look in the freakin mirror. For the record, I am not a UL fan and can’t stand Petrino, turtleneck, Pitino, etc.

    • ukjaybrat
      10:54 am September 23, 2015 Permalink

I’m an adult. I follow the athletes on twitter all the time. I rarely communicate with them other than to say “happy birthday,” “good game,” or “sick dunk” on occasion. but I have never said anything negative. That’s just dumb.

    • ukjaybrat
      10:57 am September 23, 2015 Permalink

Reporting facts of a kid being arrested or kicked off a team is not “ripping” a kid on twitter. and i’m, pretty sure if matt ever said anything negative (even being a fact)… i’m pretty sure he didn’t tag their twitter name in the post. correct me if i’m wrong, i like seeing proof. But i just don’t think it’s happened.

    • Plo
      11:06 am September 23, 2015 Permalink

Jay, really? Why would you contact these kids, even if you are being nice? It’s a little creepy. Give them some space.

    • ukjaybrat
      11:09 am September 23, 2015 Permalink

i don’t dm … just tag their name. “give them some space” have you ever been creeped out if someone says happy birthday? that’s probably weirder if you take offense to that. imo

    • Realme
      11:12 am September 23, 2015 Permalink

Um, not to state the obvious, but there’s also a big difference between bashing a player on your own team and mocking a player on a rival team. There are lots of non-Kentucky fans that tweet at our players, and that is not what Matt was talking about.

    • Plo
      11:13 am September 23, 2015 Permalink

Wishing someone you don’t know, a happy birthday? Yeah, that’s weird.

    • ukjaybrat
      11:34 am September 23, 2015 Permalink

Well, I don’t think it is. And I think a lot of people would agree with me that sometimes a random act of kindness is a good thing. If random acts of kindnes make you feel weird, maybe that is what’s wrong with kids today. But, if it will make you feel better, I will never wish you a happy birthday. deal?

The Mizzou game is a pivotal point, not because mathematically we would be incapable of a season that meets or exceeds our previous expectations, but because of the type of team Mizzou is in the SEC. Yes, they have won the SEC East twice, but much like Florida, they are DOWN. Offensively anemic. Their defense is stout, but we’re not talking about the Ray Lewis Ravens out there. If we can’t at least score 3 TD’s on them, I think our season is in jeopardy.

    • ukjaybrat
      10:52 am September 23, 2015 Permalink

We have to assume we are going to beat EKU, Vandy, and Charlotte. If not, we have have much bigger problems on our hands.

That being said, in order to go bowling, we need 1 more win between Mizzou, Auburn, Miss St, UGA, Tenn, and Louisville.

UGA and Miss St are out imo. they are just too good. Miss St would be beatable at home, but not on the road.

That leaves Mizzou, Auburn, Tenn and Louisville. Auburn and Louisville both look like crap but are still tough teams. Tenn is probably the toughest of the four. Mizzou is beatable despite their recent success. So although this is out easiest chance to get to 6 wins, i don’t think it’s a must win game. We will have other chances.

    • matt
      11:33 am September 23, 2015 Permalink

I agree that we will have more chances at wins. I think this is a more pivotal game for the fans than it is for the team. Fair-weather fans are already starting to head out the door because we lost 1 game to Florida by 5, I think beating Mizzou is important to get them off the ledge.

Same here. But i guess some people don’t have the time for a “failure” when uk basketball starts playing. psychologically speaking, i understand that when you are accustomed to a winning atmosphere like UK basketball, it is hard to associate with what uk football has been historically… but from a practical standpoint, that’s not only selfish but counter-productive. They can’t continue to get better without fan support.

    • Yoda
      2:08 pm September 23, 2015 Permalink

I agree ukjaybrat that if we DON’T beat Mizzou, that there are other opportunites. What I AM saying however is if not Mizzou, then who? What makes you think we are guaranteed another win amongst the 4 teams you cited? Heck, why is it even probably that we beat Vandy, who played Georgia extremely tough in the 1st half of their game?

Again, not impossible numbers wise, just not probable due to the message it would send in terms of confidence, execution, and remaining level of talent of opponents on the schedule. Hence why I think this is a game we HAVE to show up for on both sides of the ball and make a statement, win or lose.

The NASCAR headset idea is actually a really good idea. At NASCAR races you can rent those headsets and listen to the TV or the radio broadcast. It would be pretty neat to be able to listen to Leach’s call during the game or allow the visitors to listen to their radio broadcast.

P.S. I know anyone can take a radio and headset in with them to listen to Leach, but the headsets you rent at NASCAR races are super nice, noise canceling headphones.

Came to see the show and it’s in a private room…I’m sitting at Bobby’s Burger Palace (in the casino). If you (Matt & Ryan) want a burger, then show up and I’ll buy you lunch….limited time while I’m on my lunch break. Look for the only UK fan in the place.

Pretty safe post since they don’t read the show thread.

With regard to do many people so easily offended, here’s a funny meme: “I find it funny, others find it offensive. That’s why I’m happier than them.” https://twitter.com/Brandon_Hargis/status/647183192584159233
