Marques Bolden to visit UK soon

According to Jeff Goodman over at ESPN, Marques Bolden plans to visit Lexington on Friday, September 4th.

The top-ranked center in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Bolden received a scholarship offer from Kentucky during Lexington’s EYBL tournament in the spring. The Texas native also has offers Duke, Kansas and Louisville, among others.

Duke and Kansas are believed to be UK’s top competition for Bolden. His AAU coach and mentor also coached and mentored Julius Randle in high school, so that helps the Cats’ chances.

Matt’s already making the same mistake that many other people have made. He’s thinking of running for office because he’s not a politician like the rest of them, but he’s missing the fact that the exact instant he decides to run, he becomes a politician too!

He’ll end up at New Mexico State or some random school.

He bears a striking resemblance to Jahlil Okafor. That doesn’t bode well for the Cats. /sarcasm
