Major League Baseball shares encouraging COVID-19 results ahead of restart

How about some positive coronavirus sports news for a change?

Today, Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association shared their latest COVID-19 test results, and in the past week, only six of the 10,548 samples taken tested positive (0.05%). Even better, there have been no new positive cases in the past five days. In total, the MLB has collected and tested 17,949 monitoring samples, 23 of which have been positive (0.1%), 18 players and 5 staff members.

Opening Day for the MLB is July 23, with the Yankees taking on the Nationals at 7 p.m. on ESPN, followed by the Giants at the Dodgers. Here’s the complete Opening Day schedule (all times ET):

    Follow it while you can because sooner rather than later the virus is going to shut it down I suspect.
