Today, Governor Matt Bevin announced his appointments to the University of Louisville’s Board of trustees, and already the City of Louisville’s most popular DJ’s are taking to twitter to announce their boycott of the board’s pending inauguration.
The Governor, known for missing parties that he himself plans, is claiming that he isn’t concerned with a lot of the events potential big name entertainers backing out. “This is going to be one of the biggest and best inagurations of all time,” sitting University President Neville Pinto said. “If there’s one thing we excel at here at UofL, it’s swearing.”
Bevin explained that the names on the marquee won’t matter, as long as the Inauguration has all the pizzazz one comes to expect from a Matt Bevin party. He explained, “If Louisville’s top DJ’s don’t want to perform, we’ll find cover artists willing to fill in, and we’ll call it the Right-To-Spin movement. I know President-Elect Trump and he and I both agree, it’s not a real party unless there’s someone doing 1’s and 2’s.”
Some noted cover DJs have been contacted already on behalf of the inauguration planning committee, “The list includes the likes of Stephanie Tanner, who’s been known to cover for her sister DJ,” a source close to the Governor told us. The spokesman said “In theory the board is responsible for oversight for not only the school’s administration but also the University’s integrity and reputation,” to which DJ Sisyphus replied “Good luck with that.”
