Louisville’s Akoy Agau is transferring to pursue a future in basketball

Louisville’s Akoy Agau is leaving the program, according to multiple people who have the unfortunate job of covering Louisville athletics on a daily basis. The sophomore’s reasoning for leaving is unclear, however, common sense tells KSR he is going somewhere else because he would like to play the game for a living after college.

Agau is the guy who once said, “I personally feel like our fans are more mature [than Kentucky’s].”

He was averaging 3.7 minutes per game this season.

Louisville can’t recruit Thon Maker because he’s probably a one-and-done since the sleazeball Cal is recruiting him. Or are they planning to outbid us? Which is it?

HaHa, I just checked the Louisville roster because I wanted to see the stats on this guy, and they have a little “ear” icon next to most of the players’ names – it is there so you can figure out how to pronounce their names. LMAO!

They need Coach K coaching these guys so it all fits together.

Something else hilarious is this bit I just copied and pasted directly from the men’s baskeball homepage:

      “Agau (name is pronounced uh-KOY uh-GOW, like cow with a “G”)… “

He’s getting out before it becomes #L1C8 (as in Little Rick 1 – Cal 8).

I was listening to 790 on the way in just for some laughs, and one of the Card fans calling in said he thought the term “platoons” was the most ridiculous thing he had ever heard. I immediately thought of the “L1C4” thingy and started laughing so hard I almost ran off the road.

Oh no, I hope this doesn’t make Rick have to resort to playing white boys and an Egyptian more.

Wow ole Tricky Rick is getting a rep for pushing players out if he wants someone else. I feel sorry for this young man for believing anything he was told to come to UL and now he has to leave.

Like Swopshire. And Derrick Caracter, who was given 10 second chances, was put on double-secret probation several times, and indfinitely suspended (one game each time) more times than I have fingers and toes, then the day Samardo Samuels signed, Mr Caracter was shown the door.
      Like those guys?

And Kevin Ware (after he was hurt) and Rakeem Buckles (after he was hurt) and Steven van Treese (reneged after Buckles left)
