Louisville native becomes PGA’s youngest player to break 60


Justin Thomas is on a bit of a heater on the golf course these days.
The Louisville native, a 2011 graduate of St. X High School, won the SBS Tournament of Champions at Kapalua last weekend to kick off his 2017 season. Then today, he became the seventh player (and the youngest) in PGA Tour history to shoot a 59.
Thomas needed to make an eagle on the ninth hole, his last hole of the day, to shoot the sub-60 round:
