Louisville moves home opener, avoids conflict with UK’s home opener

The University of Louisville’s 2020 football season will kick off a day earlier as the Cards have rescheduled their home opener to avoid a conflict with a much bigger event in the Bluegrass.

Louisville was originally scheduled to host NC State on Thursday, September 3, but that game has been moved to Wednesday, September 2. The news comes only days after the University of Kentucky announced its first home game has been moved to Thursday, September 3.

UofL says the move was made to avoid a conflict with Thursday’s Kentucky Derby festivities.

They must be Drew. Hey, did you see Lamar hit the Heisman pose against UK a couple of years ago? Just wondering what happened immediately after that, I’m a little fuzzy.

Drew he’s been trolling for a while now. Always says something so profoundly stupid that if he is being completely honest his favorite game as a kid had to have been head butting high speed passing vehicles.

Nope, it has nothing to do with The Kentucky Derby festivities. It’s because ol big sis has a game.

I don’t think UofL was very concerned about UK having a game on the same night. Doesn’t that happen quite often during the season?
