Looks like that drug dealer form the Franklin County Sheriff put on Facebook worked

Remember this form that Franklin County Sheriff Pat Melton posted on Facebook earlier this week encouraging drug dealers to turn in their competition? Turns out it worked. According to The New York Times’ Katie Rogers (yes, this made the NYT), someone sent in a tip that helped the sheriff arrest a local drug dealer and recover crack cocaine, cocaine, four pounds of marijuana and four firearms. Wow.

The form went viral this week, and hilariously, even rapper Ludicris got in on the fun, posting this on Instagram:

Not to be outdone, Sheriff Melton uploaded Ludacris’ Instagram on Facebook with the caption: “Ludacris” you say? Arrests have been made as a result of information received . Stay tuned……..

Well done, Sheriff Melton.

I still think the potential for something to go wrong outweighs the potential for something to go right, but I’ll give it to him for having the cajones to try it anyway.

Pat should ask them to send in their contact information so he can put them in a drawing for a paid vacation at a location of the Sheriff’s choice. The Hotelier will be Rick Rogers, Franklin County Jailer.

“Well done?” Y’all do realize people are tweeting this
stuff because it’s just another “what a bunch
of hillbilly idiots” joke, right? How sad if you think
the rest of the country is truly impressed.

No demand, then no reason for it to come. Treatment, not prison is the best way to cut demand. Bush cut the funding for treatment as soon as he got elected. I know because I lost my job at Fayette drug court as a result of those cuts.

Your imaginary Boogey man will be gone in a little over a year, then you’ll have to start blaming Hillary for all your anger.
