The ref from the game lives in Louisville and he’s a U of L grad? The plot thickens… Why not let The Truth ref the game? At least then it would have comdedic value

Under the Grantland part of ESPN.com, Mark Titus has his top 12 power rankings and starts out going off on how terrible the officiating was in the Arkansas game and how hard it was to watch. Calls it one of the sloppiest and worst officiated games ever.

98.1 the Bull, Mix 94.5, 104.5 the Caytes, << 105.5 and 100.1 Double Q might as well just air KSR from 10-12 in Lexington.

Where did you all go to celebrate? I thought I saw Ryan's car at hooters.

I know the Petrino thing is old news now, but one thing I forgot to post during all that: Mike Zimmer, who just left the Bengals for the Vikings head coaching job, was the DC for Petrino at the Falcons. Go look up his opinion about Petrino. Hint: it is not good, and Zimmer is not one to pull punches.

I don’t know about college officials, but high school officials have time restrictions. For example, if you went to high school at Dunbar in Lexington, you could not ref Dubar or any of it’s rivals for 5 years. After the 5 years you can ref them again. Maybe there was only a time limit on this particular official. Just a thought.

It would be interesting to draw that study out and see how some of these seemingly biased refs work other games or teams with similar styles. Meaning, I could see a team like Wisconsin or Michigan State or Arkansas or Carolina all having refs that they love or hate because those refs tend to prefer a certain style of play. Ref X always has terrible stats against Carolina because they call lots of open floor stuff and let post stuff tend to go.
Totally Pollyanna and I don’t buy it, but maybe it is a style thing.

James Young always gets beat backdoor atleast twice a game and well no need in mentioning the lack of a block out. Emergency Alert Test! Is Tom Jurich trying to stop the talk of the officials? Never heard a single other test during any other shows.

You’ve got to be kidding! Is there any way the WLAP can reschedule the test of the emergency broadcast system for some time other than when KSR is on!!!

They want to have 3 hours of KSR, sell more commercial spots, and run more emergency tests during your airing time. That’s a no brainer.

Vaughn was awesome, I could listen to old school Cats fans talk all day about the golden years. As an under 30 fan I love hearing the perspective of watching the Cats for over half a century, and hope more young fans learn and embrace our awesome history

How many sports talk shows have 85 year old callers who can name their favorite players, and they still make sense. Another great show, KSR.

    Matt and Ryan,

Do you think that one of the last possessions of the game Tues night that Randle missed the dunk off the front of the rim, scouts would contribute that to his short wingspan?

I’m planning to be at the game Saturday in section 23, doing my part to give our kids the home court advantage so we can beat those Low Down Dirty Snitches!

Kentucky’s record last year after 3 conference games was 11-5 and 2-1 in SEC play. Does this bother anybody?

Yes the only differenace if u look at the games is we beat U of L this year..If we somehow lose saturday wed be 12-5 (2-2) in sec thats possibly on the bubble.. Its why im shocked most people think we are fine..But if we lose trust me all heck will break lose in lexington..Just baffles me that people think this year is so different!! Saturday has become a huge huge game!!

Think the lack of mid-range shooting for this team greatly affects the teams ability to be more consistent at the free throw line

Doron Lamb, Jamal Mashburn, and Ramel Bradley: All great mid range shooters, all from the NYC/Brooklyn area
