LOOK: Go Inside UK’s Pristine New Bookstore

Yesterday the University of Kentucky opened the doors to its brand new bookstore.  Located on the Avenue of Champions on the site of the previous Student Center, this two-story 33,000-square foot site is a beauty.

KSR’s Trey Huntsman and Emily Crowder explored the store that features a Starbucks, a Nike apparel center and a convenience store.  There’s blue as far as the eyes can see.

The rest of Kentucky’s $200 million Student Center is expected to be open in time for the start of the 2018 fall semester.

Great looking Bookstore! Too bad it ran Kennedy’s out of business. You can’t stop progress. I can’t believe how much campus has changed over the past five years.

That’s a pretty big coffee shop / convenience store seeing as everything else should just be a website.

Tuition goes up every year. Students pay for an over priced education and walk away in debt over their eyeballs.

New buildings look nice, but the students pay the price.

You realize that the university didn’t spend a dime on the new dorms, right?
