LIVE STREAM and DIARY of Jamal Murray’s announcement

murray-decision

It’s finally here: Jamal Murray’s college announcement. After two-and-a-half crazy months, the most mysterious recruit in recent history will announce whether he’s headed to Oregon or Kentucky. The announcement is taking place on Canadian sports channel TSN and you can watch it below at 6 p.m. ET:

6:20 PM (Tyler): IT’S KENTUCKY!!!!!!!!!!!!

6:10 PM (Tyler): Michael Visenberg, our new BFF, just posted this pic of Jamal Murray, his dad, and a person in what may or may not be an Oregon jacket:

Visenberg wrote me and said he doesn’t think it’s an Oregon jacket, but still.

6:07 PM (Drew): Man, it sure is quiet around here. Did this kid tell ANYONE where he plans to commit?

5:53 PM (Drew): The announcement will be at 6:15. If you need to hit the restroom, now’s your time. We’ve got about 20 more minutes.

5:46 PM (Drew): We’re 15 minutes away and the decision is still a mystery. I’m picking Oregon because the recruiting gods hate Kentucky in this class.

5:39 PM (Tyler): Alright, everyone install AdBlock? Let’s go! Jamal Murray is wearing a giant cape:

I’m predicting Oregon because the first words of the Canadian National Anthem are “O Canada”.

Toronto which is where he’s from is only 500 miles from UK. Oregon is over 2000

You really shouldn’t invite people to install AdBlock – it blocks ads on every site, including KSR, which I presume you’re being paid to write for. If sites like KSR can’t make money from ads, they won’t survive.

I still have all of my ksr ads. pretty sure that just for the pesky ones on the videos.

Those ads in the sidebar are directly embedded on the page, so AdBlock doesn’t see them. You’re still blocking other ads from the ad networks that KSR uses. And it’s also going to block all the ads on every other web page that you visit, blocking them from earning revenue and providing free content and services, too.
