Lexington and Louisville mayors bet on tomorrow’s game

sIhvX.AuSt.79

Kentucky may be a two touchdown underdog in tomorrow’s game, but Lexington Mayor Jim Gray is putting some bourbon on the line to show his belief in Big Blue. Gray and Louisville mayor Greg Fischer made a friendly wager on the game this week. If Kentucky wins, Fischer will owe Gray a personalized Louisville Slugger bat, and if Louisville wins, Gray will owe Fisher a bottle of Town Branch Bourbon, which is produced by Lexington Brewing and Distilling Company.

Are we sure we want to give away the bourbon if we lose? Seems like it should be the other way around…

BTW, does louisville ever give anything away, other than bats? Is that all they have to offer the world?
Other than Muhamman Ali, I mean.

The winner and loser of this bet should both have to resign.

Town Branch sucks. Give it all to Louisville.

Everyone knows that the mayor of the Ville only drinks crown. Put the town branch in a purple sack and he may not notice the difference.

Louisville has Chinese and Mexicans. They can offer those.

    Should be:

Louisville wins, a night at Porcini’s.

UK wins, a night at Soundbar.

Instead of a Louisville slugger bat, I would have made a bet for a bottle of Old Forester Kentucky Straight Bourbon sold by Brown Foreman in Louisville. Awesome tasting Bourbon!
