Cal also doesn’t get credit for the fact that his guys develop during their one and done year, unlike at Duke, Kansas, etc., where they come out still ready for the NBA, but not more ready.

Never say never, Matt. We were all saying the same thing when Pitino had us at the top of the mountain back in the 90’s. UK will always be UK. 8 titles shared by 5 different coaches. What other school can claim that? NONE!!
The next coach will be good, then we will get a drunk and the cycle will repeat.
This may be Matt’s greatest contribution to UK basketball. A doctoral dissertation is in order.

People don’t like KY Joe…it is called ironic listening…as mentioned, like a car wreck.
3 coaches UK has beat this year are leaving coaching. USC, EKU, and Mizzou. Charlotte, and ULL has kept their coaches thus far.
So does that make UK poison to coaching careers? 🙂
