I’ve finally started to watch Eastbound and Down and I believe Stevie’s character is based on Ryan Lemond. I hope in Season 4, Stevie starts going to Body Shapes Medical. I’m still recovering from Breaking Bad last night. I’m not sure how it’s going to play out, but if I’m not mistaken, there’s still a lot of time between the end of last night’s episode and Walt’s 52nd birthday considering there’s only 2 more episodes left.

#3 – I’d say, if nothing else, the cats won that part of the day – on a day that Johnny Football torches Alabama in a Loss – TB was – not too spectacular in a win… with no further real opponents on the schedule, can’t see how TB even gets the invitation to attend the ceremony, much less wins the Heisman Trophy…

Regardless of the game on saturday and our current record, I still have a good feeling about this program and coaching staff. It’s nice to see all of our playmakers are young guys. I do think there is no doubt Drew Barker will challenge for the starting job right off the bat.

I knew we could hang in there. The way our defense played, we should have had the lead at halftime. This was a game we could have won. Louisville is by no means a top 10 team. I know they have no chance at the national championship game b/c there is no way that Alabama won’t play Oregon for the title.

I don’t think Patrick Towles is terrible by any means. I think the coaches took the best of both worlds — passing and running — to determine their first two QB’s. Now that the passer is hurt, the coaches IMO will take the redshirt off Towles and will start giving him first-team reps in practice to get him ready to play in the games. Whitlow cannot get it done consistently through the air and the coaches know this.

That Breaking Bad episode was, IMO, the best show yet. That’s saying a lot, too, because most of the shows have been outstanding. It was kind of sad because it marked the end of the White family as we knew it. I didn’t really believe the Walter Jr. part of calling the cops on his dad, though. I know I wouldn’t call the cops on my dad unless he was really threatening my mom.

Navin- Miami (FL) is a good team this year keep an eye on them. I think alot of people are looking at Florida as a sinking ship but what is actually happening is that we are going through growing pains. If I remember correctly Alabama lost a sugar bowl game to a Utah team and people were then saying Saban was killing the Alabama program. Its takes 2-3 years for a coach to completely implement his system in a program. I think that all of you Kentucky fans are getting way ahead of yourselves becasue Stoops has a good recruiting class coming in. But remember Ron Zook was the head coach at the University of Florida and he had top 5 recruiting classes each and never finished higher than 3rd in the SEC east his whole time at Florida. It took Urban Meyer to come in and coach those recruits to a National Title. You all need to pump your brakes and slow down before thinking you are going to compete in the SEC and start playing with the big teams. You need to focus on getting out of the bottom of the SEC first

Navin (what kind of name is that?) – I am a fan of the program that has more wins than any other in the history of college basketball and there is nothing miserable about it. This year is going to be epic. The football team is on an upward trajectory and will be good and competitive in the toughest conference in the country. If you can’t see the improvement over last year’s team then you are blind. I also have enjoyed the women’s basketball team reaching the Elite Eight 3 of the last 4 years and can’t wait to see our new freshmen in action. I enjoyed watching the UK Volleyball team send the UL tards home with a big L last Tuesday night. So there is more to being a fan of a school than just being a football fan. But keep showing your lack of insight and understanding. The clicks put $ in Matt’s wallet.

I think ryan is disproportionately high. He didn’t even answer the question, just bragged.

He did say what they could do about it. It was a very good answer.

Matt, your ADHD kicked in and you stopped listening to Ryan as he rambled.

That’s a tough question. If someone like Ryan or Miss America could answer that, our country wouldn’t have the economic problems that we have.

    Drew,
I know we have a lot of trolls on the site trying to upset the BBN, But let me say they don’t upset me as much as all that filthy RED garbage that was sprinkled throughout the stadium Saturday. I can’t believe BBN let those FILTHY CARDS get tickets to the game and leave all that stink in Commonwealth. We will never get rid of it. I know you hate those Filthy Cards as much as I do.
Come on BBN give Stoops and the Cats some support. There were a lot of good things in the game Saturday. We do need to put JW at reciever or running back and bring one of the other QB’s along. Jalen is a gifted athlete and if you weren’t going to run the air raid he might work out. But you need someone who can throw down field to make the defense honest and open up. I think MS got hurt last year just about this time. Doesn’t seem a tough kid. And he was off Saturday in his passes.
All in all we had chances to stay in this game but we just dropped the ball or put it in the wrong place. I take into account that some of the freshmen are just learning as they arrived late. But their athletic ability already is showing up over the Joker players. GO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!

I vote “No” on the continued use of “sleeping on”. Who’s keeping the totals?

There was an A&P where Goodwin Square is on East Main in Lexington. I believe it had last seen capital improvements during the Taft administration.
