He also thought ETSU would beat Florida. Clearly he hasn’t watched a lot of hoops this year.

A Dookie at work stopped by my office to “remind me” that today is the 25th anniversary of the Laettner shot. So, I reminded him that it’s the two day anniversary of Duke getting rammed by the Cocks, much like Laettner by Brian Davis.

Every day is an anniversary of Laettner being rammed by a Cock.

Ummmmm….. you may want to remind your Duke friend that the “Laettner Shot” was on March 28, 1992. And then explain to him what an anniversary is.

Ha, thanks, Gossie. I didn’t bother fact checking. Now, excuse me while I go yell “FAKE NEWS!!” at him.

Mitch McConnell is not only an embarrassment to the Commonwealth of KY, but to the US, and humankind, too. He is as good an example as you will ever find of the “Peter Principle” and encapsulates in one sad, greed- and hate-filled body all that is wrong with our political system. The only good thing I can think to say about him is that he is from Louisville, and not KY. Well, at least not my part of KY.

He has authored almost no bills in his 32 years in Congress, but by simply being the last man standing is able to exert great influence. There is almost nothing too awful that could happen to him.

Yeah buddy! If ole Mitch were out of there, legislation would be flyin around every which way….

Not a big fan of mitch, but no bills is a good thing. The less congress does, the better we all are. He also didn’t allow a vote on Obama Supreme Court nominee, another good thing.

Denying an elected president his constitutional right is NOT a good thing, but things like that have a way of coming back and biting the guilty in the arse eventually

Wow. Even more people bringing embarrassment to the Commonwealth. I guess there is always the hope you are from some other state and just here due to being a UK fan.

The point of government is to govern. If they are not going to do anything, why are they there? And if they are not there, we have anarchy.

As to “catsarerunnin” I never said his not being there would alleviate the legislative logjam, simply that in his 32 years *he* has not authored much legislation. So the question is, why do we continue to financially support him doing nothing?
