Lane Kiffin received some vindication calling the plays in the National Championship, 10 years after being the losing playcaller for USC against Texas.
Kiffin’s playcalling deserves praise. On 2nd and 12 Kirk Herbstreit said, “This might be the most important call of Lane Kiffin’s career.” The next play was a 63-yard pass that led to a touchdown, the proverbial daggar. He still didn’t get no respect.
After the game, Kiffin was a little late out of the locker room. He tried to stop the buses before they pulled out, failed.
He was stuck walking aimlessly around the University of Phoenix Stadium.

It isn’t the first time Kiffin’s had team bus drama. He was infamously taken out off the USC bus on the tarmac and fired back in 2013. This time around, the National Champion can laugh it off.
