After several months, the search is finally over. According to ESPN, the Lakers have reached an agreement with Byron Scott for a 4-years, $17 million contract.
He first interviewed for the job months ago and has been at the top of Kobe Bryant’s list, so it is not surprising they picked him to please him. Scott was the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2010 to 2013 where he struggled with a young roster.
Now the waiting game begins to see where Randle will fit into his game plan.
