Kyle Macy to join Transylvania basketball staff

Former UK great Kyle Macy has accepted an assistant coaching position with Transylvania University, per Brian Milam of WKYT. Macy joins Brian Lane’s staff for the upcoming 2017-17 season.
We last saw Macy in coaching as the head coach of Morehead State from 1997-2006, where he won the OVC Championship in 2003.
Go Pioneers.

As a Transy Grad and a Big Blue Fan, I couldn’t be happier to have Coach Macy on board.
Go Vampires
Ole No. 4; Magic still has nightmares.
I know ole Kyle didn’t win an OVC Championship. The Eagles did share the regular season championship with Austin Peay. The Govs won the tournament championship too.
If anyone knew anything on this site, they would know Kyle couldn’t coach his way out of a brown paper bag that had been dipped in a bucket of bacon grease.
Kyle was at UK during the years I was there. He was an outstanding guard and he always represented both UK and the Commonwealth with class. He is truly a UK legend. Transy is very fortunate to have him on their staff.
