Golf, no; football yes. Wall to wall football last night.

      How did our guys do?

Decent; once again CJ is blocking, and not getting many targets; Josh had one huge TFL. Looking forward to watching Benny tonight; I think he’ll get several minutes.

To be fair, tight ends are asked to block a lot in the NFL. Gronk is the best tight end ever, and he only averaged around eight targets per game for his career with New England.

True, JD; but, you know me; wanted to see him bust one over the middle to the EZ.

Childers certainly sounds better when he’s not over produced, but if he wants to make some mainstream money, go for it. It’s his life.

Country music in general is a big nope for me.

I like it when it’s Bluegrassy, bluesy, or Miranda Lambert. Otherwise also nope.

I like some of the old-school country. And anything by Johnny Cash. But I can leave most of the modern bro-country. Younger daughter was listening to some country the other day that she wanted me to listen to, and I didn’t really have he heart to tell her that it was utterly forgettable, disposable bro-country. 😉

JC was a cross-over; a few hits on the pop charts.

I hope that by November Shannon the Dude has a Fu Manchu moustache.

I hope it is just ridiculous.

Well, we had a governor who grew a weird homeless-dude looking beard while in office, so why can’t Matt grow a ‘stache while running for senate? 🙂

      No thank you.

That governor can go the way of his beard.

Last Kentucky Governor with a full beard in his official portrait was named Bramlette…during the Civil War.

MJ is obviously ignorant of Ky Wesleyan’s basketball tradition. They have as many National Championships as UK, and the most by any NCAA Div II school.
Incidentally, two different players named Sam Smith, led Wesleyan to National Championships, twenty years apart.

Will Matt ever realize the decision isn’t going to be made for him? Just pick one and go with it.

    • J-Dub421
      11:24 am August 9, 2019 Permalink

I hope he doesn’t. Matt has a good thing going with KSR, don’t wreck it.

Agree. Especially since he recently sounded like if he won he’d let the show die. I mean, what would we do without the show thread?

    • runningunnin.454

Agree; he’s not going to win, why go looking for grief. That’s the definition of masochism, like the lady earlier in the show that watches 162 Reds games.

Best HS recruit would imply success at the collegiate level. AD sacrificed for the team, and won the title. Durant was like Trae Young.

I hope Matt doesn’t try to make any science analogies in a debate.

That is one of the better Turtle impersonations I have heard. 🙂 He is a lot better than the one Ryan does.

Where do the proceeds from the golf tournament go? Website did not say, therefore I did not sign up.
