Taking a look at the comment sections of most of these posts lately reminds me of why I dumped Facebook.

I’ve been avoiding the comments sections on KSR more lately because they’ve become a cesspool of negativity and stupid whiners.

Lets get off the negative and try this! This team reminds me of our championship team just a low budget version. Hear me out this is about March not now. We are not contenders yet! Quickley/Teague ,Herro/lamb,Keldon/mkg, pj/tj (its a stretch but potential if he can hit 3s and dribble a bit better when he attacks)Reid/eloy, ej/ dare I say and I mean lowlow budget ad but remember he was all defense in championship game he couldn’t hit crap. No Zion’s on this team just fill your own shoes. We have a quality team and Hagans a defensive stopper and nick too. Throw in a quade as a backup guard and we have a formidable team. We are not as gifted but if we learn to make good passes take good shots and get second opportunities with aggressive defense we can win it all but it’s gonna take these guys completely challenging each other and having a never die attitude. Need confidence! After duke game we suffered a blow fans included and me! But it’s a long season every champ has lost! Can’t all be Floyd mayweathers and fight little guys! We will be different team by middle of sec play and March we will be a tough out! Go cats

Yeah, the one about the kid who elbowed his opponent in the face had a lot of interesting, ahem, “social commentary”.

So North Dakota travels 1,000 miles…and all they get is ice and snow; aim a little further south next time, fellas.

Did anyone else notice that when they panned all the jerseys in the rafters that they were all perfect and unwrinkled…..except Richie Farmer’s? It looked like it had be in summer storage or maybe they had to get back from the pawn shop.

That’s cause he borrowed it to wear around town in the hopes that people would worship him and his moustache like the old days. 🙂

I didn’t notice that; but, did you know the Prison System gave him a number ending in -032, the same number of his UK jersey.

I had not heard that, how thoughtful of the warden. I wonder if all criminal athletes get the same treatment.

I still hope that dook goes undefeated until the second round of the tournament, when they run into their own version of the Wisconsin game.

And I am saying this because I know that it is too much to hope that the NCAA will end up busting them for the bag of cash that they gave to Zion.

The NCAA has shown that they will never punish Duke for anything ever.

First Cobain, then Layne Staley, then Scott Weiland, and finally Chris Cornell. We have lost a lot of the grunge superstars from the 90’s. Dave Grohl and Eddie Vedder are pretty much the lone surviving superstars of that era/genre. Kind of sad for me – some of my favorite music. And to think that three of those four that I mentioned were from suicides.

We’ve lost many superstars due to their lifestyles…drugs, alcohol, etc. I remember the mysterious circumstances in the death of the Doors’ Jim Morrison. Also, Janis Joplin, and Jimi Hendrix.
Little known fact, Hendrix served with the 101st Airborne at Fort Campbell and was awarded the Screaming Eagles patch. He annoyed his peers so much that they would hide his guitar.

they industrial rockers from that era are still kicking. Marilyn Mandon, Trent Reznor…who knew those guys would be the ones to survive?

Dook lost by 16 to Miami in January of 2015. They also lost to ND by 10 in the ACC championship.

Maybe bigger? But more important? No.

I was in an regional New England eighties metal band and Nirvana changed everything.

My brother in law was in a band like that. They were more of a 70’s style band, but they did tour regionally and were starting to get the ear of some record labels for some of their original stuff when they disbanded, of course for “artistic differences”. Trying to remember what band they used to open for, but it was someone who was pretty well known at the time. The band was called “Tyler”.

We have VMI Keydets up next; keydet is “southern pronunciation of cadet”. LOL, and their mascot is a kangaroo…HUH.
They beat some school called Goucher by over 50 points.

Their kangaroo is named Moe. They are also from Lexington…Virginia that is. I don’t know why we’re playing them, they have no chance at all.
And what about the Citadel playing #1 Alabama…slaughter.

Here’s the thing with the kid who threw the elbow, it was unrelated to any play (not in the heat of the moment), and he checked to see if the ref was looking or not, so it was premeditated.

No one should go to prison for a fight IMO. Unless someone gets brutally mangled or killed.

So, our basketball team looked much better last night. Better effort across the board, better shot selection, better defense, better communication, better everything.
