Taco Bell started a new dollar menu yesterday. Most of the items were things they’ve sold before, but a new item is the Spicy Tostada. Can we get Drew to explain how to eat it? They give you a fork to eat it with, so I would assume you’re supposed to eat it like a pie, but that’s hard to do since the tortilla shell will just break up.

    Story time with Uncle Matt?
Did I hear Ryan and the KSR crew is going to Hawaii in January?

I wonder if Chris from Richmond will show up…

Matt, thought I’d pass on some news from CATlanta where Thamel is reporting some issues in the Petrino camp already……lots of good stuff in here. And BobbyP is still being BobbyP

I am lobbying Mitch to cut all ties with Matt and his buffoonery. He is a disgrace to the program and panders to the lowest common denominator. My family and I donate a lot of money to the program. He will listen.

Derek Willis will not play this year!! I would rather have Poythress, Aaron Harrison, Trey Lyles, and Devin Booker play the 3 before Derek Willis. Willis had some nice dunks, yes. But is that all you guys see!? He looks scared when he has the ball! He isn’t a knock down shooter like you would think. And he is not a good defender to say the least. Maybe next year or his senior year but I don’t understand why there’s this fascination with Derek Willis. Same thing happened last year.

Derek Willis will never play here.

Even a-holes can caddy. UL has been some good press lately, but it’s done now. Last year was their season to succeed but they failed. Say bye-bye to the birdies, in 6 months no one will care and everyone will be captivated by TU making no look passes to Marcus, Karl, Willie, Dakari, Derek. I’m bored with Bobby P’s antics.

This might be an unpopular opinion: but we have Lee, Lyles, Willie, Dakari, and Towns to play the 4 and 5 spots, based off the 6 games in the Bahamas the odd man out that I saw is Dakari. Obviously Lyles wasn’t able to play so he hasn’t proven himself yet. But Lee, Towns, and Willie all seem like better options to have in the game over Dakari in my opinion. Thoughts? Maybe Lyles can play the 3 so that the other 4 can split time at the 4 and 5?

      I thought the same thing.

      11:07 am August 19, 2014 Permalink

It’s nothing against Dakari, he was great for us last year. But we’ll just have to see. Not all those bigs can play. Definitely will be interesting to see.

      12:39 pm August 19, 2014 Permalink

People, you are not thinking this through. Among the candidates, Dakari is the only one who is a true center. Towns and Stein can both certainly fill that position but both may be more valuable at the 4. Lee is not a 5 and probably never will be. He is too easily pushed around and I doubt he will ever be anything but a 4, an extremely good one, but not a 5. We have not seen Lyles so there is no way to predict how he will fit in. Also it is not beyond the realm of possibility that both Lyles and Stein will see very limited minutes this year. Both had what have to be considered serious injuries and there is no way to know if both of them will make full recoveries before the season ends. The bottom line to all this is that Dakari will get his 20 minutes a game and will be ready for the first round of the NBA draft when the season ends.

Actually I had noticed what the caller said about Rashawn Franklin also. Think it is pretty obvious he has it against UK’s coaching staff and now some of the players as evidenced by some of his recent tweets. Quit following him about 2 months ago but just went to check out some of his more recent tweets, guess he is not a UK football fan anymore.

The two guys who asked Drew to go fishing in the small boost reminds me of Fredo Corleone’s lay fishing trip. Drew is lucky he was not shot in the back of the head.

Delk for 3: he didnt hit that many shots. If you look at the box scores for the entire Bahamas Tour Dominique Hawkins shooting percentage was about 10% better. Hawkins hitting at least 40% of his shots to Booker’s 30%.
