Good morning, friends, and welcome to the Monday edition of Kentucky Sports Radio. Also, probably some July 4th shenanigans.

Glad Kash picked UK, but not shocked! I am getting ready for some UK football too. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Dating advice from Matt Jones is like financial advice from Ryan Lemond

Matt is a regular ladies man — just ask him and he’ll tell you.

I’ve seen some of his girls. It’s amazing what “fame” will get you, because it is definitely not from his good looks or winning personality.

Aaron is better than many of the shooting guards who were drafted. He’s also bigger and more athletic than a lot of the 2-guards taken.

Hopefully Charlotte will look at his broken jump shot as something they can fix, if he continues to prove himself in other ways. Also, I don’t know why Matt wouldn’t think Aaron watched his brother be coached as a point guard all his life and wouldn’t have picked up a lot.

the problem is that, even if he “IS” better at a lot of things, he HAS been shooting pretty dreadfully from range in the last few months. and in a league where shooting guards need to be shooting really well. he is lacking in his number one job description. that will hurt. unless he steps up his shooting from range, there will always be another 2-guard who can shoot

@realme, i like to think they essentially have the same skill sets. but they cant play the same position. thus an at 1 and aa at 2. aaron played well at point this weekend and andrew played well at the 2. bc of their size, i think they can be successful at either position. but whether a gm will see it that way, we’ll have to wait and see

Hope so. Aaron may need to prove an ability to play pg to get the job.

Aaron just needs to get out of his own head. He’s worried about not getting drafted and not getting a roster spot. I think this is why he played badly at the NBA combine. He’s nervous and he’s trying too hard.

Is Mark Price still coaching with the Hornets? I know he was credited for his attempt to reconstruct MKG’s shot. That would be a help for Aaron I would think.

Maybe the guy confused about Dwayne Casey was confusing him with Mike Casey that came out of Shelby County.

I love that Patrick Towles is a Harry Potter fan. I also love that he’s confident enough in himself to not care if it’s out there.

Willie and Marcus Lee have been two of my favorite players for the last couple of seasons because they’re a little weird, and they own it. I like Towles for the same reason. I like that these guys don’t conform to what other people think they should be. Keep “doing you” guys!

I’m not a big Harry Potter fan, but Towles can do whatever the heck he wants as long as he wins football games.
