So are you all going to add another minute to the show by adding a cool intro? It was pretty cool I thought.

    Caytes by 44 biggins tonight.

Wonder what KSR is moderating on my comment

Moderation isn’t always picking up a curse word. sometimes it randomly “moderates” a comment for no reason. pretty annoying

Moderation seems to be automated, and there is no method to the madness. Don’t take it personally. It happens to all of us.

Probably wouldn’t get much fan support for a bowl game with a 5-7 record, but the practice would be a big help for this team.

    • kycats13
      10:30 am November 20, 2015 Permalink

Practice has not helped the team this year.

    • ukjaybrat
      10:31 am November 20, 2015 Permalink

You’d be surprised how much that extra month of practice actually helps though. especially if you keep going to bowl games and get it every year. most of the week is preparing for the next team, but if you get several weeks in a row of JUST practice not having to worry about a specific team, it really helps.

The team support Drew more than Patrick because Drew has shown that he will go to the mat for his team – literally. Or maybe that is the floor at the dorm lobby. ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s the QB’s responsibility to get the guys on their side. He is supposed to be the leader of the team, the fault lies with the leader if his people don’t support him.

    • J-Dub421
      10:52 am November 20, 2015 Permalink

The players don’t get to decide not to play hard because they like one guy more than the other. You don’t have to be best friends with everyone on your team, but you do still have to play. They are on scholarship to play football, so play football. The inmates shouldn’t be running the asylum. Sabotaging your own team is not okay.

    • CATandMONKEY
      11:39 am November 20, 2015 Permalink

If the players are deliberately tanking because they prefer another qb, they should lose their scholarship.

I doubt there’s any proof, but this is the second time this week I’ve heard this rumor.

    • WesHos
      11:42 am November 20, 2015 Permalink

Not saying it’s okay, just saying it’s the QB’s responsibility to make sure it doesn’t happen. If 50% of employees underperformed and are not motivated because they didn’t like their boss who’s fault is it?

    • CATandMONKEY
      11:45 am November 20, 2015 Permalink

Jared clearly believes it and Freddie stated that IF sandbagging was the case then that player should be shown the door. I stole the idea from Freddie. To be clear, Freddie did not say that sandbagging was definitely the case but that IF it was occurring that a loss of scholly was in order.

    • CATandMONKEY
      11:49 am November 20, 2015 Permalink

I didn’t care for my boss for over 10 years but I still did my job at at least to a. “B, B+” level at a minimum, strictly out of professional consideration. Was I volunteering to do a bunch of extra nonsense just to get points? No, but I still “tried to catch every catchable pass”.

    • J-Dub421
      11:49 am November 20, 2015 Permalink

They shouldn’t need the QB to make them want to win. If you’re that reliant on external motivation, then quit football.

I’ve never played football, I was a swimmer. There were a couple of girls on my high school team that I wasn’t overly fond of and they weren’t fond of me either. We all managed to check our differences at the door because we wanted to win. I regularly swam on relays with them, and it was not a problem. We don’t have to be best friends, I just want to win and that is enough. Bring your A game or go home.

    • ukjaybrat
      11:54 am November 20, 2015 Permalink

This is the same in football. especially in the NFL. hell there are guys in the locker room that straight up hate each other. But it’s a part of the job. they have to show up and work together. Are they going out for drinks after? probably not. but when they are on the field, they make it work. well most of them do. some of them punch geno smith in the mouth. ๐Ÿ˜› (sorry jets fans)

If our receivers have been sandbagging on Towles because they think Barker is “their boy” then we need to wholesale replace all of our receivers. All of them. That is never okay.

5-7 bowl? If you ask me a 6-6 should not go as it is only mediocre football, accepted only because of so many mediocre bowls.

    • ukjaybrat
      11:01 am November 20, 2015 Permalink

I agree.. i don’t even like 6-6 teams going. That is a sign there are just too many bowls. i think it should be 7-5 or better ONLY. and if there aren’t enough teams, then the bowls that don’t get filled don’t happen. oh are you sponsoring that bowl? sucks for you.

There is no reason a team in a bowl can end the season with a losing record (6-7) much less 5-8. that’s just sad

    • ukjaybrat
      11:02 am November 20, 2015 Permalink

that being said, i won’t complain if we are one of those 5-7 teams, because we desperately need it. and if they do hand out bowls to 5-7 teams, we will definitely be one of them because as much as a lot of our fans despise the growth in this team, there are still more fans that will travel to a bowl game than most other schools, and that’s all the sponsors care about.

If it was violation when and SMU assistant wrote papers and or took tests to keep one of their players academically eligible, then it was a violation at UNC when they had tutors writing papers for players, or players getting A’s for classes they didn’t attend or do any work for. SMU is already in trouble. Therefore UNC should be in trouble. They played players who were academically ineligible.
