Good friend from England got up at 5 am to vote in her first election as a US citizen Tuesday. It really is a special thing, because with all of our issues, America is still great.

Was watching GMA and they were bashing Kaepernick pretty hard, for good reason.

I agree that voting is an awesome right to have. Even if you are doing a write-in vote, you need to be there, IMO. There are also a lot of other important local elections to vote for as well.

If Kaepernick and guys like him also invest their money and time in trying to bring about social change I can respect their right to kneel or whatever, even if I don’t like it. But clearly if he can’t be bothered to vote, he’s not really about improving his world, he’s about getting attention.

As many problems as this country has, we also have opportunities here that aren’t afforded to us almost anywhere else in the world.

Fun Fact: U of L gets 88% of the revenue from the Yum Center. Remember that’s ALL revenue, not just revenue from U of L games. Every time there’s a concert at the Yum Center, U of L gets 88% of the revenue. This is why the Yum Center is on the verge of bankruptcy. We the taxpayers will be left holding the bag.

Isn’t it under audit now? Hoping all the shenanigans that brought about that deal are exposed in detail.

State officials are calling for an audit. It hasn’t happened or been initiated yet.

that’s what happens when two groups of people negotiating something are on the same side and neither one of them represent the tax payers. Let’s also not ignore the fact that half those tax payers are kentucky fans that are getting screwed in the rear by their rival. how rich is that?

I feel like signing such a blatantly bad for the public deal should be criminal.

There is no other team in all of college sports that gets that kind of deal/revenue from their arena. 88%!!!!
