Really bummed about Paschal’s news. Hope and pray he comes out of this fine.

On cloud nine with the heartwarming story about Dontaie’s commitment,
And now back to earth with the news from the football team.
Prayers for Josh and. Coach Schlarman.

So nice to have a kid (yes, from Kentucky!) that really wants to be here after all that drama with that other kid.

I like that he didn’t drag his recruitment out to bask in the limelight like so many others. And the fact that Bob Huggins, Mike White, Bruce Pearl, Steve Prohm, and Chris Mack wanted him is good enough for me.
He reminds me of Darius…very quick release on his jump shot.

I will admit I was a little annoyed by all the “sign the KY kid” noise, but this really makes me happy. It is nice to have a KY kid who is good enough to contribute here and already appreciates what UK basketball means to the state.

About 4 years ago, my then-13 year old was diagnosed out of nowhere with melanoma. She did fine and it turned out that it hadn’t spread to any lymph nodes, but the waiting for the follow-up results really messed with my mind for awhile.

      So glad she’s okay, Clutch.

13 years old; that is so scary. So happy she’s ok.

Thanks. It was a reminder about keeping things in perspective, and that you shouldn’t take anything in life for granted, so there’s that.

    • Wow, I’m super busy but had to check in for a minute and I see the post about Josh and John. Bummer, and prayers for them.

I’m also glad your daughter is olay CC.

I can’t even begin to imagine what that must have been like. Glad your daughter is okay, CC. Hopefully we’ll get similar results for Paschal and Coach Schlarman.

Hah, NCAA won’t put us in Louisville. We’ll be in Ketchikan, Alaska. Only spectators will be the wolves and bears.

Is that the farthest you can get from Lexington in the continental U.S.?

Nah, blue would still get in.
