Anyone who has had their Marine Corps drill sergeant up in their face would probably disagree with Matt that it is easier than football. 🙂
the intensity of football would make a lot of people blush. but compare that to military training (esp marine corps or ranger) it makes football look like spending a day with mary poppins.
Hey Matt, maybe coach stoops can get the boys together for warm milk, cookies. Maybe they can all wear footie pajamas. News flash, sometimes harsh words are spoken by football coaches….
Hell, I have heard F-bombs hurled around by girl’s volleyball club coaches. Not saying that I am a proponent of it (doesn’t make them play any better, IMO), but most high level athletes have had their asses chewed by a coach at some point in their career.
I can jump my players without using profanity and it works. You have to pick and choose your techniques for motivation. Some kids respond differently than others. There’s really no need to use the language some coaches use. With that said, they’re all adults and can handle it.
There will have to be a government official to determine if you shoveled adequately. Seems like a flustercluck waiting to happen……
Since most government officials are experts at shoveling you know what, finding one to judge the adequacy of the shoveling should be no problem.
