Kobi Simmons Cuts his List to Three

Kobi Simmons has dwindled down his recruitment to the three schools where he took official visits – Ohio State, UNLV and Kentucky.  He originally planned on announcing his college decision on September 19, but moved it back on September 4 after visiting UK (a.k.a. a good sign).

The number three point guard in the 2016 class is perceived as priority number two in the Cats’ recruiting class, behind first-ranked De’Aaron Fox.  Still, the 246 Crystal Ball is 45% in the Cats favor, followed by Ohio State (25%) and UNLV (20%).

I feel for this kid. He seems to really want to play here and may not have the chance. Pretty crazy to think that you can be the 3 ranked pg in the the country and have to stand in line to play for your dream school. My how the times have changed. It wasn’t that long ago when we had high hopes of landing 3 start kids.
