After scoring 25 points with eight rebounds and five assists in his first game in Brooklyn on Saturday, Kevin Knox took a second to catch up with Evan Daniels of

John Calipari and Kentucky were among the many things they discussed:

“They’re really good,” Knox said of the Wildcats. “They put a lot of people in the NBA. Coach Cal is a good coach and, hopefully, we’ll see what we get from him.” []

Knox, who received a scholarship offer from Kentucky during an in-home visit last night, also said he has no plans to sign early because he wants to take his time with the process. He will begin taking visits over the summer and on into the school year.

Cal is always busy, but it feels like this summer will be insane. With 4 seniors on the team, there’s a decent chance we could lose 8 or 9 guys at this time next year. Time to go to work.

I know I shouldn’t cast judgment based on a short, possibly out of context, blurb but “hopefully, we’ll see what we get from him” rubs me the wrong way as not the best attitude.

I think he was referring to a scholarship offer. The interview was Saturday, and he met with Cal and got a scholarship offer last night.

Ah, thanks. I retract what I said then. That makes perfect sense. Again, context, and I should have followed my own instinct not to make any judgments and kept quiet.
