Kentucky’s Class Now Ranked 13th

rank

According to 247Sports’ Composite team ranking system the commitment of Tate Leavitt has Kentucky currently bringing in the 13th ranked class in the land. That’s up four spots from yesterday and approaching uncharted territory for Wildcat football. Perhaps what is even more impressive is where the class currently ranks among the titans of the SEC.  For the first time that I can remember the class is in the top-half of the SEC at number 5 and ranked 2bd overall in the East, behind Georgia.

1. LSU

2. Alabama

3. Ole Miss

4.Georgia

5. Kentucky

6. Tennessee

The 85.43 average rating is a bit below the 2014 class’ finish of 86.90 but with only 19 guys in the class Stoops is set-up to finish well.  The next few years are setting up to move past Missouri and South Carolina. Time to make some noise in the SEC.

Lets not forget the two huge transfers from OSU and Minnesota.

Kentucky has what’s the best offensive line recruiting class in football right now..just a ridiculous amount of talent, and with this type of offensive line (which we historically haven’t been able to recruit) it’s going to make our skill players look even better

This program is going to be the surprise of the SEC this season and next, and is going to make a push for the SEC East..mark my word

Noted! Kentucky will be next to last in the conference as it is every year. Now lets see who’s correct. Won’t be long till the homers are yelling “just wait till next year”! and if “Stooped” was to ever have a good year he will be on the next train out of town.

Oh my! What clever wit!! I see what you did there. The football coach is named Mark Stoops and you brilliantly utilized most of his name in a sizzlingly sharp barb by referring to him as “Stoopid” implying he’s not that bright. To be fair though anyone standing in your gargantuan shadow of literary prowess is likely to look at least a little bit dumb. I hope you quit your day job soon and take up comedic writing as a profession. It’s obviously your passion. Mark Twain step aside, Hunter S. Thompson put down the mescaline, Voltaire abdicate your throne. There’s a new satirist in town and he’s taking names and, well, brilliantly twisting them into riotous mockery. I used to enjoy piddling with pen and paper seeking strong sarcasm but why write withering words when one peerless penman perfects prose? Bravo sir! Bravo!

Well lets get…real. uk was picked to finish second to last in the SEC’s weakest division, the east, at the recent SEC media days.

Its so funny how by every late summer uk football fans’ brains get baked by the sun and they forget that they are…well, kentucky.

I continue to admire the recruiting efforts by the Coach Stoops and his Assistant UK Football Coaches.
The entire staff sounds like they Wake Up every morning and are looking to kick Some Ass in Recruiting.

And the numbers don’t lie. Go Cats!

The Cats’ moved up to #12 in the rivals overall which by the way still has Kash Daniel as a 3 star. The addition of Kobe Smith would possibly move UK into the top 10.

I realize this is KSR and facts are optional, but is editing also out the window? The spelling errors and lack of correct forms of words has been off the charts this weekend.

Where do you think we’ll end up after our typical run of December/January decommitments?

Care to rattle off that long list of our “typical run of December/January decommits”? And of course we are the only school that has decommits. Perhaps you should decommit from BBN. Something tells me you never commited in the first place.

I’m excited for football, forget the naysayers (either trolls or not true fans) because a real fan would be excited the direction the program appears to be headed in, remember the Woodson year you don’t have to have the best players but instead the right coaching staff with the right vision which I believe we have, and the one thing we didn’t have that year which was quality depth which I believe we are finally starting to have, so all you non believers and people who get on here to complain about grammar take your miserable STOOPED life somewhere else

All I’ve heard since Stoops’ arrival in Lexington has been about his tremendous recruiting efforts. He inherited a team that supposedly had some really good potential young talent from Joker’s last recruiting. That first Stoops team went 2-10/0-8, finishing last in the SEC East. Last season’s 5-7/2-6 mark did show improvement on the bottom line, but managed only sixth place in that division. Again those Cats are picked to finish 6th in the SEC East. That recruiting ranking sure looks good on paper. When is it going to translate to larger numbers in the win column? All I hear now is, “a real fan would be excited the direction the program appears to be headed in”. Appearances can be deceiving…..

I’ve never been a fan of fat out of shape head coaches. For the most part, with a few exceptions, they tend to be failures.

To the guy claiming stoops hasn’t proven anything, joker left this program in the dumpster. Further down than its ever been talent and fundamentals wise. This is coming from a player on the team under joker and now stoops. No coach in America would have won many games the first year. Last year was actually an impressive turn around considering the youth and lack of depth. Dropped interception from beating UL and missed call from 7wins. Year three will bring more experience, depth plus a favorable schedule. A bowl is a given. Might not be a great bowl, but anything is an improvement and added practice time to the team and all the multiple redshirts. After seeing what joker left, and how poor a coach he was fundamentally, I fully expected year four to be the year they MAY be bowl eligible. To almost make it in year two, is really impressive.
