Kentucky Women’s Basketball ranked No. 13 in AP Poll

Both University of Kentucky basketball teams will start the season ranked. Today, the women’s team debuted at No. 13 in the AP Poll, the fourth highest ranked team in the SEC behind Texas A&M, South Carolina, and Mississippi State.

Matthew Mitchell’s squad may have lost Maci Morris and Taylor Murray to graduation, but they return consensus National Freshman of the Year Rhyne Howard, Blair Green, KeKe McKinney, Tatyana Wyatt, and Jaida Roper.

The women’s team holds their only exhibition tonight vs. Southern Indiana at 7 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum. Admission is free and UK will be handing out free candy to fans, so make the most of a rainy day and get on down there to enjoy the fun.
