The Kentucky women’s basketball team wrapped up a two-game road trip to Alabama by defeating the Crimson Tide 68-53 in Tuscaloosa Monday night for the Cats’ third straight win. UK won by ten at Auburn last Thursday.
The Cats led by only four at the break, but came out of the locker room on fire. Matthew Mitchell’s team outscored Alabama 19-6 in the third quarter to take control of the game. A few of the best moments from the run:

Rhyne Howard knocked down four threes to lead all scorers with 23 points, but the Real MVP was UK’s defense. Kentucky stole 15 passes to scored 20 points off 24 Alabama turnovers.
Kentucky improves to 20-5 overall and 7-5 in SEC play. They’ll return to Memorial Coliseum this Sunday at 2:00 to take on Arkansas.
