Kentucky will Honor 23 Student-Athletes During Tonight’s Game


If you’re heading to tonight’s basketball game at Rupp Arena, prepare to give a standing ovation to 23 exceptional student-athletes.

UK is inducting 23 student-athletes into the Frank G. Ham Society of Character.  Those being honor have “an extraordinary commitment to academic excellence, athletic participation, personal development, career preparation and serving as a role model.”  The recipients in alphabetical order:

  • Evelyn Akhator, women’s basketball
  • Bridgette Alexander, women’s swimming
  • Andrew Aviotti, men’s swimming
  • Alex Carter, women’s soccer
  • Kendal Casey, women’s swimming
  • Morgan Chumney, women’s tennis
  • Kendra Crew, women’s swimming
  • Allison Dupay, women’s swimming
  • Kyle Higgins, men’s swimming
  • Jacob Hyde, football
  • Kate Kelly, women’s swimming
  • Darian Mack, volleyball
