After an extended holiday break, UK saw just a small amount of movement in the national rankings.

Following a week of no games, the Kentucky Wildcats Women’s Basketball Team remained at No. 13 in the AP Poll while moving up one spot in the Coaches Poll from No. 12 to No. 11. Kentucky has not played since beating Wofford 98-37 on Dec. 19 and will not play again until this Sunday, Dec. 31, against the No. 10 Arkansas Razorbacks inside of Memorial Coliseum.

Joining the ‘Cats are the familiar faces of Louisville (No. 2 in the AP Poll), South Carolina (No. 5), Texas A&M (No. 9), Arkansas (No. 10), and Mississippi State (No. 12). Georgia, Tennessee, and Alabama are all receiving votes in the AP Poll with 33, 10, and two, respectively.

Kentucky is currently scheduled to take on Arkansas, South Carolina, and Texas A&M in its next three consecutive games after the Jan. 3 matchup against Tennessee was postponed earlier on Tuesday.

Here’s a look at the rest of the top 25:

Louisville is an absolute juggernaut. Idk if Kentucky will beat them again while Walz is there.
