Kentucky has one of the best teams in all of college volleyball.

In the latest AVCA Fall Division I Coaches Poll, the Wildcats came in at No. 2 overall, good for first in the Southeastern Conference.

Sitting at 4-0 on the year, Kentucky sits at No. 1 in the SEC, followed by Florida (4), Texas A&M (7), Missouri (9), and South Carolina (3-1).

Here is the updated poll:

  1. Texas (42) – 10-0
  2. Kentucky (2) – 4-0
  3. Baylor – 11-1
  4. Florida – 4-0
  5. Notre Dame – 6-1
  6. Louisville – 5-2
  7. Texas A&M – 4-0
  8. Georgia Tech – 7-1
  9. Missouri – 2-2
  10. Pittsburgh – 6-4
  11. Kansas State
  12. Miami (FL) – 5-3
  13. Texas State – 16-1
  14. Syracuse – 4-4
  15. South Carolina – 3-1

Kentucky’s status as a top-two team in the nation comes after the team managed back-to-back sweeps against Tennessee two weeks ago and at Missouri last week.

Now, the Wildcats will look to continue their success when the Auburn Tigers head to town this weekend, with matches on Saturday and Sunday both set for 4 p.m. ET. The first will take place on the SEC Network+, while the second will air live on the SEC Network with Courtney Lyle and Missy Whittemore on the call from Memorial Coliseum.

Following this weekend’s matches, Kentucky will close out the regular season with a two-match event in Starkville, taking on Mississippi State on Nov. 12 and 13.
