With positive news regarding four-star forward Lance Ware announced earlier on Tuesday, Kentucky still has another four-star forward on its radar.

According to Corey Evans of Rivals, JT Thor – a 2020 four-star power forward and the No. 48 overall recruit per 247 Sports – received an in-home visit from the Kentucky coaching staff on Tuesday.

Thor recently trimmed his list of schools down to five; featuring Kansas, Oklahoma State, UCLA, Georgia, and the Cats.

The No. 3 overall player out Georgia currently holds a 100 percent Crystal Ball prediction from 247 Sports in favor of Oklahoma State. The OSU coaching staff were expected to visit Thor during an open gym today and he recently took a visit to Stillwater.

At 6-foot-8 and weighing 190 pounds, Thor’s stock has taken a dip over the last few months. He spent most of last year near the top of 2021 recruiting rankings, but after reclassifying to 2020, he’s been moved down to a four-star prospect.

Check out some of his highlights.

I’m not overly impressed with what I see from Thor in this video. He’s tall and long, but everyone is tall and long when you get to high level college. Based just on this video, I’d say moving him to 4-star status is about right.
