If you were planning on staying up and watching the Kentucky softball team tonight, you better get an extra cup of coffee ready.

Due to rain in the Seattle area, Game 2 of the 2019 Seattle Super Regional has been pushed back to an 11 p.m. ET.

The game will still air on ESPN2 and the WatchESPN app as scheduled with Mark Neely (play-by-play) and Danielle Lawrie (color commentary) on the call.

Kentucky fell to Washington in Game 1 last night by a final score of 3-0, where the Wildcats left nine runners on base and four in scoring position.

If Kentucky wants to keep their Women’s College World Series hopes alive, they will have to win both tonight and tomorrow to move on to Oklahoma City.

Last game was a glitch from traveling so far west. I hope they arent screwed even further by the even later start.

So last year the first game the travel out west did not bother them but this year it did? Before you make a dumb excuse try to know what you are talking about. Last year the team went out west and won game 1. We simply did not get the hits at the right time and made some mistakes on defense vs a very good team and lost. Now you are already making excuses in case we lose tonight. If these ladies were 50-60 years old the time may matter, at 18-22 it does not matter. BBN home of the excuses every time we lose a game, I guess that is now in any sport.

Yes, it did affect them. They didnt play like they have the past 10 games. The confidence wasnt there. Watched both games and they looked like someone let the air out of their tires. The run they gave Washington when their coach kicked the ball helped.

Thanks for the “why you dont have any friends” rant. I dont know what bottle you crawled out of to post it, but as usual it is misdirected and out of left field (a septic field at that).

I hope they can get their swagger back next year. Cant believe they got this far after the start they had. Turned out to be a great comeback season
