UPDATE: Kentucky softball’s Super Regional game against Washington has NOT been postponed

After the official NCAA Softball Twitter account announced that Kentucky’s Super Regional matchup against Washington had been postponed until tomorrow, UK Softball says the game will still be played tonight as scheduled.

Originally scheduled for 10 p.m. ET tonight, the game was then pushed back to 11 p.m. due to weather.

With a win, Kentucky forces a third game with a spot in the College World Series on Sunday. With a loss, their season is over.

Last night, the Wildcats fell to the Huskies by a score of 3-0, where they left nine runners on base and four in scoring position.

You can catch them in their win-or-go-home matchup on ESPN2, where Mark Neely (play-by-play) and Danielle Lawrie-Locke (color commentary) will be on the call.

Win or lose, KSR’s Brent Wainscott will be around afterward for a recap of the game.

Go Cats.
