Upon receiving his release, Kentucky was one of many schools to reach out to West Virginia transfer Eron Harris Wednesday, his father, Eric Harris, told the Indianapolis Star.
A 6-foot-2 shooting guard originally from Indianapolis (Ind.) Lawrence North Harris averaged 17.2 points and shot 42 percent from three-point range as a sophomore for the Mountaineers last season.
In addition to Kentucky, Harris’ father said Michigan, Michigan State, Louisville, Ohio State, Illinois, Purdue, Indiana, Notre Dame, Butler, New Mexico and UCLA had already inquired within hours of receiving his release from West Virginia.
